The Pavilion at Shenandoah Woods

Located in a private valley in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah Woods is a spectacular setting for your wedding. Our Pavilion backs up to the woods with a beautiful, open view of the farmland and mountains ahead. It's a custom 3200 square foot, open air structure with changing rooms, restrooms and a catering kitchen. We provide as much as we can to make your planning as simple as possible; you do not need to rent a tent, port-o-potties, speakers, lighting, tables or chairs. Choose to have your ceremony on the lawn in front of the Pavilion, or in the chapel in the woods, just a short walk away. Your wedding party and guests may choose to stay at any of our onsite cabins, making it an amazing weekend for everyone!

      Caterers & Vendors

Shenandoah Woods does not offer food service at this time. Among other amenities, we do provide tables, chairs and use of our prep kitchen. Local caterers can supply food, beverages, table linens, dinnerware, bartenders & waitstaff. We've worked with most all of them and can make some great recommendations. Contact us for a complete list of caterers as well as other vendors providing flowers, music, photography, transportation, child care, hair & make up, wedding planning and more.

      Entertainment

There are several options for music and entertainment. Bands are welcome or you may hire a Disc Jockey; they can bring their own speakers or they may use our professional 3,000 watt sound system and dance lighting. Another popular option is to bring your own music on an iPod or laptop to use with our PA system. Our sound system is not a wimpy hotel PA. It is a professional system designed to sound clean and powerful. Every DJ that has plugged in has been impressed. Loud music must end by 11pm.

Accommodations

Shenandoah Woods operates 17 vacation rentals (cabins and lodges) onsite, all within a mile of The Pavilion. If you require additional accommodations there are several more vacation properties within a mile for a total guest capacity of over 150. If you book the Pavilion, we can place a hold on most of our vacation properties giving your guests plenty of time to book.

Shuttle Bus

Our 13 passenger shuttle bus is available to transport your guests between the Pavilion, vacation properties and local hotels.

Attention DJs, you probably don't expect a venue to have a good sound system. We have a great sound system. It's powerful with better coverage than you can get with pole mounted speakers. Just bring your mixer and laptop, you can plug in with our RCA or 1/4 inch cables. And if you are not familiar with Danley speakers, they are amazing. Every DJ that has used our system has been very happy.
